Designs will be evaluated by the following criteria: the solution to the problem you identified and how well the submission meets your stated goals. See the rubric below for a breakdown of how these elements will be evaluated.
For resources on accessible and universal design, visit the Accessible Canvas Course Checklist and Universal Design Principles. While accessible and universal design will not be directly evaluated, judges will be advised to consider them when evaluating how well the design meets the stated goals.
To determine your final score, judges will multiply the points from the solution to the identified problem by 1 and the points from how the design meets the stated goals by 2.
For example:
