Image Cards
IMAGE CARDS: COPY & PASTE
Image cards are available below in 2-column and 3-column layouts for copying and pasting in the Visual Editor.
Selection bars are necessary for images.
The cards below include a placeholder image. Insert your image immediately after the placeholder image, then delete the placeholder.
To ensure that your cards are consistent, crop any images that will appear in a row to the same aspect ratio. 16:9 aspect ratio works well for these cards.

IMAGE CARDS: INFO & NOTES
Image cards allow you to organize content visually into sections. They are commonly used on contemporary websites, and so they can make your Canvas content feel more like a website.
After the heading, these image cards can support almost any content. For example, you could add a button directing students to an assignment.
Notes
- Image cards are provided in 2-column and 3-column layouts. They will technically work in a single column, but they are intended for use in columns. On mobile devices, they will adjust to be 1 column.
- Looking for stock images? Canvas includes a built-in search at Unsplash Links to an external site., one of the best free stock photo libraries. Just go to Upload your image and select the Unsplash tab.
