POPUP BOX: INFO & NOTES

Popup boxes are helpful to create quick knowledge checks and other interactive content.

Ways you can use popup boxes in Canvas…

  • Include with your content to help students study and learn.
  • Use popups to provide more information about certain topics, available if students choose to select them.
  • Create simple true/false or yes/no knowledge checks.

Notes

  • Mobile - The popup box works by tapping on mobile.
  • When a popup box is open, clicking anywhere (inside or outside the box) will close it. The X icon in the top-right corner of the open box is purely decorative to remind users that they can close the popup box.
  • While the popup button should be simple, you are welcome to include whatever you want in the popup window, such as images and headings.
