The final exam will be administered in-person and is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3rd at FB 340 at 7.30 AM – 9.30 AM. Note that this is a different day and time from our regular lecture time. The exam will be done on paper.
The final exam is comprehensive and covers all class material for this semester. I suggest that you revise your lectures, quizzes, midterm, and homework. Midterm and homework keys are available on Canvas.
The exam is closed book and consists of multiple-choice questions, short essay, and calculations. The number of exam questions will be in the range of 20-30 questions worth 100 points (and it constitutes 15 % of your total grade for the class). Show your work on the exam paper for calculations. Scratch paper will be provided, so you only need your calculator and pen/pencil.
The final exam must be taken to receive a grade in the class. The final course grade will be assigned as outlined in the syllabus.
Useful equations will be provided with the exam.
The final exam review slides posted on Canvas are organized for your revision but do not serve as a complete substitute for your exam preparation.
All the best with the Finals and wishing everyone a great summer!
